About Murray Dawes

Murray began his career as a graduate trainee at the Swiss Banking Corporation — now part of global banking giant UBS — before moving onto the floor of the Sydney Futures Exchange, where he spent years trading futures in one of the most demanding, high-pressure environments in Australian finance.

From there he moved into private hedge funds, designing custom trading systems and strategies for some of Australia’s wealthiest investors — including managing the trading capital of the Smorgon family, one of the country’s most prominent private fortunes.
